We are into the final week of November and the team are cracking on with bunkers on the 3rd green surround, 6th and 17th fairway being re-vetted.
Everyone will have noticed the aeration holes on the greens, aprons, fairways and tees after the big process of verti-draining was carried out throughout the week. The greens and tees were aerated with 13mm tines to a depth of 8 inches with the fairways taking a larger 19mm tine. This process will help relieve any compaction of the surface and allow air into deeper parts of the profile.
